Imagine that. AIM is dropping down on their list. But let's not forget:

1. AOL's AOD which is installed automatically when someone installs their online client providing a link to install AIM.

2. AOL has their own download page for AIM at www.aim.com, which people are more familiar with.

i have an idea... well i guess this would only be avialable to PRO members (which sucks cuase i am not one) but someone could write a plugin that updates every X minutes and basically has a running total of Trillian downloads off of download.com and trillian.cc...

The default download location from trillian.cc is download.com, if you want to see a running total of that look on the front page of gotrillian.com ;) Though this doesn't count the pro downloads as they come off cerulean's servers and cachenetworks

Not since Trillian 3.0 this isn't true. Trillian 3.0 Basic and Trillian 3.0 Pro are the same download package. Basic turns into pro as soon as you properly activate it by logging in with your registered pro e-mail address and password.

I believe you're right, I think(?) nathanhart might of meant pro versions 1.x and 2.x. I don't remember if Download.com only had just the earlier basic version (.74i) at that time.

Yeah I know how it works, trust me. What I am talking about is if you log into the members area you can download the package from cerulean studios and cachenetworks servers instead of off download.com's

Yeah, he's right. I had a crash and lost everything awhile back and had to re-download Pro. It downloaded from the CS site not download.com but when you download Basic it takes you to download.com.

Downloaded Basic, and got the password for the trial version upgrade to PRO, and it just doens't work!

When I try and do the upgrade again, they say I already have the password. I do, but it' "broken". I've typed it in a dozen times, to be sure I did it correctly, and no luck.
